What to do

Torremolinos has many attractive beaches, La Carihuela and Bajondillo being two of the better ones, that lure visitors to the area. The town also enjoys a great climate and many delightful restaurants and beach bars.

La Carihuela is also the original fisherman's district and just west of the town center. There's a new promenade here which extends as far as the Puerto Deportivo in Benalmadena. Here you can find good seafood restaurants among other draws.

The town has numerous public gardens that are great for a stroll. Alternatively, the town center is mainly given over to the famous shopping street of Calle San Miguel, stretching almost to the seafront.
