What to do

In town, you'll find much Gothic architecture surrounded by shops, bars, and restaurants. Some of the interesting buildings to visit include the Cathedral La Seo (dating from 1230), Palau de l’Almudaina (Moslem castle, Bellvar castle, and La Llotja.

Check out the Museu de Mallorca for some island history. Banyas Arabas is a good stop to see the Arab baths. Palma is known for its fun nightlife. Bodegas, tapas bars, and nightclubs are all commonplace after dark.
